Sean Guth, AIA, NCARB, LEED® AP has been named President of Lose Design. Guth has been with the firm since 2013.
“Sean is the epitome of the Lose Design culture. He has led our architecture department through many of our largest projects, he has the support of staff and the full trust of the board of directors in leading our team into the future,” said Lee Davidson, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Guth’s career began in the greater Denver area. He has since worked around the world on a variety of projects, learning how to integrate architecture and urban design in a way that addresses both social and environmental sustainability while highlighting quality, creativity, and budget-sensitive solutions.
He earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2007 and both his Master of Architecture and Master of Urban Design from the University of Colorado College of Architecture and Planning in 2009. He is a passionate outdoorsman and enjoys traveling, He lives on a Middle Tennessee farm with his wife and daughter.

Lose Design announced the expansion of its services to Denver, Colorado. This new office will serve the western region of the country. Currently, the firm has locations in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, and Atlanta, Georgia.
Associate Vice President of Landscape Architecture, Bram Barth, will manage the firm’s new Western Region Office. Barth’s responsibilities in the Denver office will include overseeing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with existing clients in the area, and working alongside principals and team members to grow the business and services that the firm can provide to the Denver and surrounding communities.
“This is an exciting new chapter in the Lose Design story,” says Barth. “Our team values designing spaces that support the most fundamental human needs to live, work, and play. My focus is to develop a Western Region practice that accomplishes this and continues Lose Design’s tradition of success – for both ourselves and our clients.”
Barth is a registered landscape architect and project manager with Lose Design. He has served as project manager for numerous parks and recreation master plan projects in addition to various greenway, commercial, and institutional projects. Currently, he is project manager for the $75 million Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park in Loudoun County, Virginia – the firm’s largest park and recreation project to date. Barth holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Ball State University and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Outside of the office, he has completed multiple stewardships and authorships for various industry publications.
